WALALA X PLAY – TBT and shopping smart.

Seeing as autumn is in full swing, the days are darker and colder here in London, I thought I would share a little throwback to warmer and brighter days! This dress was my all time favourite from summer this year, and was a super cheap little Primark number! I’ve posted it a few times before because I wore it so much! When you want to dress like a super fab fashion blogger, but your budget is more super drab, and your bank card is crying every time you whip it out you really have to work hard to find cheap pieces that can build up your wardrobe. This is something I really have to work at, I could buy new things every day of the week, but I would be like the best dressed homeless woman within two days if I let myself. So sometimes you have to be a bit more patient and clever with what you buy.

With cheaper shops like Primark or New Look, one of my best tips is to go to a large store in a city when you can. They usually stock a bigger range and the more fashion pieces. For example, the Primark in my hometown is good for the five packs of your period pants (you totally know the ones I mean), but when I want to find a cheaper fashion finds, I try to head to a London store instead. Also, another tip for building your wardrobe on a budget is using websites like ASOS, they have amazing ranges, and what I often do is add everything I like to my wishlist, and when a sale comes around, scroll through and by the pieces that have been reduced and buy them then.

Outfit: dress, Primark, corset belt, Primark, bag, Fake from China. #brokegirlfashion

I love how you belted this gingham dress! Such a chic way to add to any ensemble. Corset belts are my favourite!
