Hello for Guangzhou, well actually I am writing this post after I got back home because I had such a busy schedule when I was in China. But I am having so much fun editing and going through the pictures from my trip.
Guangzhou was the third city we stopped in. The air was much cleaner than in Beijing, and you got beautiful tropical humid sunshine, although I did spend a lot of time wishing I could click my fingers and be by a beach. It’s high rise, and full of sky scrapers like Beijing, but it’s more colorful and less gray than Beijing, but it’s not a tourist city, so there is not as much the see or do.
I wanted to share this outfit with you because I think it is one of my favorite summer looks at the moment. I ordered a big load of clothes from Shein before I left because I had nearly nothing to take with me, and hardly any money to go shopping.
This skirt was in this order and I love it, it’s super cheap but nice and fun for the summer, I find it really flattering, which when you have a big bum and hips is usually quite difficult. Its only downfall is the fabric is really thin and you can see through it, however, I just wore it with this long ASOS shirt dress and have it like a make shift lining layer, in the UK I probably would have just worn Spanx with it, but in 36 degrees I could not deal with a pair of them! (Also in China you have a lot of squat toilets, and trying to pee while squatting, in Spanx I think would be way too risky!) haha, too much information!?
Anyway, I loved this look, and the skirt is such a steal if you have some way around the fabric issues!
The bag is a whole others story, I bought it in Guangzhou too but I’ll share that with you in full in my next post.
