The best thing about having finished my degree is having some days off! The last two days I have watched Netflix’s in my gym clothes on my parent’s comfy sofa. After working nearly every weekend since October 16 it feels way too good. During the fashion show my phone screen started to go funny, and by the end of the night my phone wouldn’t work at all, and it’s actually been quite nice to have a few days uninterrupted relaxing. It has also given me a chance to start eating better, I’m sure any uni student can relate to how healthy eating can so easily go out of the window at uni. I was working 12 hour days in the studio, then coming home and working as many more hours as I could manage, I had no time to think, let alone shop and cook for healthy meals. Coming home for a few days to my parents has been amazing, having a cupboard and fridge full of fruit and veg is making me feel so much better already. This morning is the end of my days off, I have to sort out and organized all of my crap, I have so much stuff from my degree and my uni house, as well as everything from before in my room at my parents house that I need to sort out ASAP. I am going to be making a few trips to the charity shops, and I think there will be a ton of recycling!I need the space and the organization because I have a couple of exciting trips coming up. Next week I’m flying to Scotland for work with Sutors Gin, I went up late last year and had the most amazing time. I cannot wait to be in the beautiful middle of nowhere again. After that, I am so excited to be traveling to China! I am traveling with my uni CSVPA to take the BA fashion course on a fashion road show. I cannot wait. I have always wanted to visit Asia but I never imagined I’d be going three weeks after finishing my degree. I have just started to do a little research and have been reading so many blog posts on travel, packing, and everything, I cannot wait to share it all here with you.
